Hosting is one of the foundational pieces to running your online business. Unfortunately, there’s a ton of really bad advice floating around, as well as lackluster hosts.
Most of the bad advice is because of referral commission programs – the hosting companies that charge more for less service have the most profit left to give bloggers big commissions. This leads to people pumping these garbage hosts up and pretending they’re better than they really are.
Like I mentioned in the review of how PixelRaider makes money – I do get commissions on some links, but that has no impact on my reviews (which, you’ll see for yourself – I’d do much better on the commission front if I gave some of these companies better reviews.)
